Hobbit Room VR

With inspiration taken from Bilbo Baggins’ study, featured in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit,’ this Hobbit Room was built within Maya.

All objects within the room where created by myself, with some images sourced from online and materials manipulated through Photoshop.

For an extracurricular activity, I then took this room and turned in into a VR experience using Unity, allowing people to see the room as if they are actually there.

This project was created in 2018.

This showreel showcases how Arnold rendering was used to finalise the room within Maya.

It took 3 computers running over a weekend to render out the frames for the video footage.
